To improve worldwide recruitment of medical professionals to staff more than 70 U.S. Army hospitals and clinics around the globe
MABU conducted an annual recruitment marketing campaign on behalf of the U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM), one of the largest and most advanced healthcare networks in the world. An estimated 60% of the U.S. Army Medicine workforce is comprised of civilian health care professionals employed by the federal government. To ensure success of the overall program and draw employees from
the civilian sector, MABU collaborates with the U.S. Army Medicine Civilian Corps to attract and hire medical, dental, and behavioral health care professionals.
Agency MABU works alongside the Civilian Corps to create fiscal-year plans, encompassing integrated marketing and event management, to reach qualified candidates for employment. During the years of teaming with the Civilian Corps, Agency MABU has facilitated design and support for the interactive Civilian Medical Jobs career database, print and digital advertising coordination, brand identity research & development, and organized other strategic tools like online job fairs, focus group sessions, trade show displays, and additional collateral materials.
The initial campaign exceeded its original recruitment goals by over 200%. The Civilian Corps, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2016, also saw a record-number 6,881 applicants during that fiscal year. Ongoing support and collaboration with MABU have positioned the U.S. Army Medicine Civilian Corps as a premier employer among the audiences it targets.
