What’s your all-time favorite movie and why?

The Shawshank Redemption. I feel like it represents cinematic perfection.

If you could talk to anyone, living or dead, who would it be and why?
Charlotte Perkins Gilman tops my list. She was an author in the late 19th – early 20th century whose most notable work, “The Yellow Wallpaper,” first introduced me to her writings. I have a theory about the meaning behind the ending of “The Yellow
Wallpaper” and would love to receive her affirmation or refutation.

If you could change your name, what would you change it to and why?
That would be a no for me. I think my name is awesome! It’s two letters T and Y. It’s not short for anything. It’s long for T.

What is your favorite piece of furniture you own and why?
My chair. I’m a huge fan of sitting down. I like chairs that I can rest my head on, with a neck support. I like to kick my feet up and relax.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Ireland. I would love to experience my Irish roots, first-hand.

If you could live anywhere on this planet, and take everything that you love with you, where would you choose to live?
I would love to live close enough to a beach to listen to the calming sounds of the water in the morning, walk to the beach each day, and see the sun set on the water every evening. Any beach will do – provided that it’s a lifetime away from the words “polar vortex.”
