What We Value
We hire for mindset as much as skill. Successful team members are:
Client-centered: Genuinely committed to understanding client needs and delivering meaningful outcomes that advance their mission
Strategic thinkers: Able to connect big-picture goals to clear, actionable execution
Quality-focused: Grounded in best practices and structured processes to consistently deliver high-quality work
Detail-driven executors: Sweat the details without losing sight of strategy or outcomes
Collaborative leaders: Work effectively across teams, elevate others, and contribute to shared success
Mission-aligned: Motivated by work that supports meaningful community and cause-driven impact
Calm under pressure: Bring clarity, organization, and steadiness to fast-paced, evolving client environments
What You'll Do
Design marketing and communications materials — annual reports, social graphics, digital ads, e-news templates, landing pages, presentations, brochures, direct mail, signage, and event collateral
Build responsive, scalable, and accessible layouts, applying typographic hierarchy, color contrast, and layout best practices
Prepare and package press-ready and web-optimized files, managing prepress specs, file formats, and export settings across print vendors and digital platforms
Produce short-form motion graphics for social and digital, and support photo editing as needed
Build and extend brand and visual identity systems — logos, color, typography, and guidelines — that stay consistent everywhere a client shows up
Maintain consistency in design, style, and usage in line with each client’s approved brand standards
Collaborate with account, strategy, content, and creative teammates throughout each project to refine concepts, incorporate feedback, and deliver on time and on scope
Contribute creative concepts during brainstorming and help the team develop fresh, effective solutions
Manage several projects and deadlines at once, tracking priorities in our project management software (Wrike)
What You Bring
An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, commercial art, advertising, or a related field
Five or more years of professional design experience. This isn’t an entry-level role, though an exceptional portfolio may offset fewer years
A portfolio demonstrating strong, relevant design work (required)
Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), PowerPoint, and prepress/print production
Working knowledge of Figma and motion/video tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro)
Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to interpret creative direction and incorporate feedback
Experience or interest in photography is a plus
